White House downplaying the severity of Trump’s COVID-19 infection
US President Donald Trump has been taken to Walter Reed military hospital where he will undergo further observation for this infection with the Coronavirus.
It was reported late Friday evening the president along with the first lady and several members of the White House staff and press core also tested positive for the deadly virus.
The president had reported trouble breathing along with other symptoms associated with the virus. White House staff has downplayed the severity of the president’s symptoms however we know that is not the case.
The White House is equipped with a state-of-the-art hospital on the grounds and the fact that the president has been admitted to the military Hospital, indicates the president’s symptoms are more serious than they are letting on to the public
It is also said that the president is taking an experimental drug that can produce COVID-19 antibodies. Approximately less than 300 people have been administered the test drug to date
The mere fact of the president is subjected to a test drug can only confirm the severity of his symptoms. As of now, there has been no transfer of power yet to the vice president Mike Pence.
