Trump To Postpone US Elections For One Year

Unconfirmed reports coming from Washington early Wednesday morning indicate that President Trump will be invoking the Elections Emergency Act. He will delay the federal election by one year then tender his resignation after that. A source inside the White House said Republicans are looking to prepare a path for Ivanka Trump to take his place as the presumptive Republican nominee.

On March 13, 2020, Trump invoked the Emergency Measures Act, freeing up billions of dollars and unlocking unprecedented powers for the president. Trump has come under fire for his handling of the crisis and has decided to not seek re-election himself.

Trump believes the new direction is “strong and brilliant” and heavy negotiations have been taking place around the clock to keep Pence from seeking the top position. As a part of the negotiation with Pence, Trump will hand over rights to Trump University to the Pence family trust, which will be renamed Pence University.

A senior aide with close ties to the president said part of the deal would also see the letters from Trump Towers come down and be replaced with P.E.N.C.E. If Ivanka, loses the 2021 election, Trump has agreed in principle to hand over all rights to the Apprentice to Pence LLC. This move would make Pence the new host of the Apprentice.

One of Pence’s interns, who we will call April to conceal her identity, overheard Trump say, “on this day, Pence would be a fool not to accept his deal.” Trump is scheduled to hold a press conference today at 1 pm in the Oval Office where he will address the nation.

HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY
