Prime Minister Erna Solberg of Norway met Prime Minister of Iceland Katrín Jakobsdóttir and Prime Minister of Liechtenstein Adrian Hasler in Oslo to hold bilateral talks about climate change, the labour market and future relations with the UK.
The previous time the three prime ministers met was at the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the EEA Agreement during the EU summit in March 2019.
The EEA Agreement is the mainstay of our cooperation, and we all agree that the Agreement is crucial for promoting sustainable welfare-based societies. In our discussions, said Prime Minister Solberg.
An emphasis was placed on the importance of international cooperation and that no single country can address their issues alone. The three prime ministers further pledge to work together to ensure their countries are positioned to be the leaders of climate change and economic development.
