First, thoughts and prayers go out to everyone witnessed to this horrific shooting. Secondly, GUNS DO NOT BELONG IN CHURCHES. We understand this is Texas where guns are a birthright and everyone has at least two “legally” registered firearms in their possession.

The church shooter was able to walk into church with a twelve-gauge shotgun and kill two of his fellow parishioners at point-blank range. The shooter was then shot in the head by a team of voluntary security guards.

This team responded quickly and within six seconds, the shooting was over. Two of the parishioners who were volunteers on the security force drew their weapons and took out the killer immediately, saving untold number of lives. Our strong gun laws allowed the shooter to be neutralized.
