The annual African Writers Conference (AWC) returns for its 7th year. This annual event is a celebration of the rich literary heritage of Africa, where readers and writers from across the continent come together to ignite conversations about the unique aspects of African literature. This year’s theme is “The Role of African Children’s Literature in Shaping the Youth.”
For this 7th edition, Rwanda will host the AWC from October 22 to 27, 2024. We are thrilled to announce that WSA-Rwanda will proudly present this edition of the AWC, ensuring that participants not only engage in thought-provoking discussions but also have the opportunity to explore the breathtaking beauty of Kigali, Africa’s safest and cleanest city.
