Profiles & Biographies announces Biographical Compendium on Outstanding Nigerians in the Diasporas

ABUJA, Nigeria-One of Nigeria’s leading biographical publishing firms, Profiles & Biographies, has announced that it has added a biographical compendium on outstanding Nigerians in the diaspora to its stable.

Titled Exemplars: 100 Most Outstanding Nigerians in the Diasporas, this biographical compendium is aimed at building a comprehensive biographical database of outstanding Nigerians in the Diasporas to serve as a go-to reference document for government, multilateral agencies, and researchers seeking for biographical information on outstanding Nigerians in the diaspora.

It is also intended to complement the government’s efforts to accommodate the desire of the Nigerian diaspora community to contribute to the development of our beloved country and to facilitate the offering of their competencies, expertise, and experience.

The compendium would serve as a veritable reference guide to the Nigerian diaspora skills database that relevant institutions could use, a statement jointly signed by the Co-editors, Dr. Badewa Adejugba-Williams, Obasewotta Kammonke, and Koblohobase Kammonke, said.

The statement noted that the firm is currently receiving nominations of potential listees, and it urges interested Nigerians to nominate Nigerians abroad who meet the criteria of evidence of a distinguished career in the nominee’s area of specialization.

Another criterion, the statement noted, is that the nominee must consistently model the Nigerian spirit of resilience, integrity, innovation, and excellence. Nominees are also expected to be champions of community development.
