Neighbours Witness Knife Confiscation in Latest Riverbend Police Call

Around noon today, a heavy police and paramedic presence was reported in the North Main Riverbend area in response to a 911 call. The neighbourhood, which has been a frequent site of police activity, was once again the center of a troubling incident.

Neighbours say the home has seen consistent police visits since the family rented it. Reports of fighting and loud arguments have been common, often disturbing the early mornings.

One neighbour, who lives a block away, noticed the commotion and observed what appeared to be a knife being placed into an evidence bag by the police. Additionally, a young girl was seen being put on a stretcher and taken to the nearest hospital, her mother visibly shaken.

Witnesses believe the child may have suffered a knife wound, although the extent of her injuries is currently unknown. Neighbours hope for her swift recovery and that she can enjoy the rest of her summer.

However, the recurring police presence has left many residents frustrated and fed up with the ongoing disturbances in their community.
