Kyle Rittenhouse out on $2 million dollar bail
The Kenosha shooting that took place on August 23, 2020, of another unarmed Blackman by police, sparked the unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Jacob Blake was shot four times in the back by Kenosha police officer Rusten Sheskey after he was unsuccessfully tasered.
On August 25, 2020, heavily armed with an AR-15 rifle, Kyle Rittenhouse a 17-year-old crossed state lines and killed three protesters and injured two others during multiple confrontations throughout Kenosha.
Rittenhouse was arrested and charged with several counts of homicide and firearm possessions. The teen shooter was being held in jail on a $2 million cash bound up until November 20, 2020, where bail was posted.
The lawyer for the defendant raised the funds needed to post bail and defend the Kenosha shooter with help of pro-gun, right-wing Trump supporters. The most notable supporters of Rittenhouse are My Pillow CEO Michael James Lindell a die-hard Trump loyalist and former child actor Ricky Schroeder.
The Silver Spoon actor’s support for Rittenhouse shocked the Twitterverse and further tarnished the image of the elusive actor. In 2019, Schroeder was arrested twice on allegations of domestic abuse.
In one instance, according to the LA County Sheriff’s office, Schroeder’s girlfriend told the 911 operator that the actor had “punched her in the face.” The charges were eventually dropped by the victim.
Multiple sources alleged the child actor was still trying to come to grips with the divorce from his wife of 24 years. And, according to the forgotten actors IMBD, he has not been credited with work since 2016. With his overwhelming support for the known killer, it will be hard to see his prospects for work improving anytime soon.
