If you have ever wondered what Gwyneth Paltrow vagina smells like, well she made a scented candle.
That’s right you can now buy the Goop vaginal candle which Gwyneth Paltrow says “this smells like my vagina.” The $75 candle is made by the fragrance brand Heretic, describes it as “a funny, gorgeous, sexy and beautifully UNEXPECTED scent, this candle is made with geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed to put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth.”
According to People, the fragrance “started as a joke” between Paltrow and perfumer Douglas Little while they were brainstorming new products. When they began testing different scents, Paltrow realized at one point, “Uhhh…this smells like a vagina.”
If you’re wondering how one might capture much less define such a scent, gynecologist Jennifer Gunter kept it simple on Twitter: “As an expert in vaginal health, I am not sure I would associate all those scents with a normal vagina.”
According to Goop the candle has sold out and they have a waiting list for fresh orders. It is not determined if the candle is marketed for men or women & No word yet if the candle gets better with age.
