Condition of the motorcyclist is still unknown
Around three o’clock this afternoon a grey GMC Envoy struck a motorcyclist at the intersection of Selkirk Ave and Arlington Street. According to an eye witness who saw the tail end of the incident, observed the SUV strike the motorist and fled the scene of the crime down a side street.
The vehicle was found approximately a block away on Sinclair Ave. Police on the scene did not divulge any information as to whether the vehicle was stolen or if the drive was apprehended.
The condition of the injured motorist remains unknown. Further details on the incident is pending a press release from the Winnipeg Police Service.
