Evander Kane, the former Winnipeg Jet Suspended 21 days for falsifying his COVID-19 vaccine status
Former Winnipeg Jet, Evander Kane has been suspended by the National Hockey League (NHL) for violating the league’s COVID-19 safety protocols. The NHL has some of the strictest COVID-19 policies in professional sports and requires all players to be fully vaccinated to participate in the league games.
Kane’s suspension came after an NHL investigation found him to have provided vaccine information that is fake. Kane joins the list of several high profile sports athletes that refuse to be vaccinated from various professional leagues. Kane is also no stranger to controversy and continues to be a major distraction to whatever franchise he calls home.
“I would like to apologize to my teammates, the San Jose Sharks organization, and all Sharks fans for violating the NHL COVID protocols. I made a mistake, one I sincerely regret and take responsibility for.
During my suspension, I will continue to participate in counselling to help me make better decisions in the future. When my suspension is over, I plan to return to the ice with great effort, determination, and love for the game of hockey.” Said Kane
Kane will serve a 21-day suspension for his stupidity and will be eligible to resume on-ice activities with his team on November 30th, pending he passes all the required NHL COVID-19 protocols.
It’s been reported the starting scalpers’ rate for fake COVID-19 vaccine cards starts at $500 US dollars and upwards. People being caught with fake COVID documentation can expect a fine of $20,000 and $100,000 for business per occurrence.
