Ancient African History is at the Center of Emmanuel Kulu’s Acclaimed TEDx Talk
“I, Pharaoh: The New Kingdom” is the next book. The book will be an Educational piece elaborating on the history of the New Kingdom of Kemet (Ancient Egypt).”
Emmanuel Kulu’s recent TEDx talk comes highly praised. It centers on ancient Egypt and its black African rulers. A renowned African historian and bestselling author of I, Black Pharaoh Rise to Power, the speaker’s book and speeches have energized discussions about the place of blacks in the storied history of Egypt and ancient civilization. Listeners and readers of Emmanuel Kulu’s books have praised his courage and genius and see his novels about ancient Egypt as necessary in understanding the contribution of blacks to the history of Egypt’s evolution and world civilization. Eurocentric writers and historians often gloss over the black man’s glorious place in their retelling of Egyptian society. But Mr. Kulu is part of a brave corps of writers changing that narrative.
In an exclusive interview, Emmanuel Kulu, a Buffalo, New York native, stated: “The major theme of the talk (TEDx) was a historical unveiling of Ancient Africa.” He added, “my goal was to bring everyone into the understanding that Africa is the root of all humanity.”
And how have people reacted to his views on ancient Egypt? “The reception has been great!” Emmanuel Kulu said. “We have received multiple requests for speaking engagements. We (AAARIA) have decided to campaign with our speaking tour, ‘Untold The Golden Age of Africa’ at colleges, universities, and other educational institutions after the Tedx Talk.”
Mr. Kulu is prepared to withstand the criticism his views and novels may elicit from those determined to erase the glorious place of blacks in ancient Egypt. He is ready to defend black and African civilization. He said, “so far, there have been no critics, only positive vibes.” But assured, “and I will pay it no mind when the negativity comes. Ancient Egypt being a black African civilization, has been proven over and over again. At this point in my career, I don’t debate proven facts.”
A restless and creative mind, Mr. Kulu also spoke about his forthcoming book, which will be available across global sales channels. “Yes, “I, Pharaoh: The New Kingdom” is the next book. The book will be an Educational piece elaborating on the history of the New Kingdom of Kemet (Ancient Egypt),” the author said.
Tragedy struck Buffalo, New York, while this interview with Mr. Kulu was ongoing. A native of the city, the author, is saddened by the tragic event, but he is determined to stand as a positive force against the derailment of the truth and communal love. He remarked, “I also found it important to mention the recent tragedy that occurred in my city Buffalo New York where white supremacists came into the black community to kill black people for no particular reason.” The writer observed that “the miseducation of this country has led to a lot of violent crimes, but once everyone comes into the understanding that Africa is the origin, there will be no need for racism. This education needs to be taught in all schools across the globe if we are serious about changing the narrative. As a human society, we must restore the truth together,” Mr. Kulu said.
