Ye has found a kinship with the far-right racist groups that align with Trump and his M.A.G.A group of fascists
Adidas has just become the latest corporate entity to sever ties with disgraced rapper and fashion designer Kanye West, AKA Ye. Balenciaga, MRC, Vogue, CAA, Gap, Footlocker are other entities looking to distance themselves from Ye.
“Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.
After a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Ye immediately, end production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies. adidas will stop the adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect.” Statement post on adidas website
The once renowned hitmaker and creator of Yeezys, the fashion brand that has dominated the shoe industry for the last few years, has been on a racist, anti-semitic anti-black, pro-right-wing, pro, stupidity movement within the previous few months.
He no longer represents the culture of Hip Hop, nor can he be seen as a person that is an ally of the black community. In one of his most egregious rants, Ye insisted George Floyd did not die at the knee of the racist Police officer, but instead, he succumbed to his death via fentanyl overdose. That heinous statement made him the recipient of a $250 million definition lawsuit by the George Floyd estate. And with the way Ye has been spouting blasphemy, it is not far-fetched to expect more lawsuits against the disgraced rapper by various other groups, entities, and individuals.
Ye’s anti-semitic and racist comments have gotten him kicked off or temporarily suspended from multiple social media platforms resulting in him following his close friend, the disgraced former President Donald Trump and acquiring his own right-wing social media platform, Parlor.
The once successful upstart Parlor was removed from various App stores and lost its hosting company when it was discovered it had contributed to the deadly January 6 Insurrection. The platform currently has a nominal number of users, but with Ye’s acquisition and right-wing conspiracy nut Candice Owen by his side, the platform may gain relevancy again. It will give Ye an unfiltered avenue to spew his hatred and right-wing garbage and further alienate himself from the rest of society.
Suppose Ye successfully attempts to port over his 100 million social media followers to his Parlor platform. In that case, he will have to be considered one of the most dangerous people on the planet.
