The second China International Supply Chain Expo has made a powerful statement on the global stage, concluding with the announcement of over 210 trade deals valued at an impressive 152 billion yuan (approximately $21.17 billion). Organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the five-day event underscored its growing influence in fostering international supply chain collaboration.

Attracting over 600 exhibitors from nearly 70 countries and regions, the expo served as a fertile ground for networking and partnership-building. More than 37,000 suppliers engaged in over 6,000 matchmaking sessions, leading to the signing of more than 6,700 cooperation agreements. This robust activity reflects the event’s strategic importance in strengthening global supply chain links.

The expo drew more than 200,000 visitors, a significant 30 percent increase from its inaugural edition, further cementing its status as a premier event. As the first national-level platform in China dedicated to supply chains, it has successfully captured the interest of international corporations, with nearly one-third of the exhibitors this year coming from overseas—a notable rise from last year’s 26 percent.

Prominent multinational companies such as GE HealthCare and SAP have already confirmed their participation in next year’s edition, signaling the expo’s growing reputation. The commitment of these global players highlights the event’s role as a hub for showcasing innovations, exchanging strategies, and advancing industrial and supply chain development.

Zhang Shaogang, Vice Chairman of the CCPIT, emphasized the expo’s value as a platform for fostering collaboration between domestic and international firms. He expressed the organization’s dedication to expanding the event’s influence and building a stronger international consensus on the critical importance of resilient and innovative supply chains.

As the curtain closes on this year’s event, the China International Supply Chain Expo has set a high benchmark, not only in terms of participation and deal-making but also as a symbol of China’s integral role in the evolving global supply chain landscape. With commitments already rolling in for the next edition, the expo promises to remain a driving force for international economic integration and cooperation.
