A Letter From Afro Narrator

Dear Reader,

I am pleased to present a window of opportunity to support a publication from a widely published writer. But first, let me tell you a personal story. Don’t we all love those little personal tales? Well, most of us do. Anyway, here is what I think you should know:

My short Story, “The Protest Outside,” is published in Monalisa No Longer Smiles, an anthology of writings from around the world. (OM Books, India. 2022). https://borderlessjournal.com/our-anthology/ .

I have writing credits in New York Beacon, Daily Scrum News (Canada &USA), Sahara Reporters (New York)The African (USA), Black History Month (UK), Borderless Journal (Singapore), Africa Briefing (UK), African Courier Germany, Lives, Citymail, Splendor (Nigeria), and elsewhere. I am a fellow of the British Council/Lancaster University Crossing Borders online writing program (2005/2006), Voices Network (USA.) Poet of the Month, February 2002, and was longlisted for the Wakini Kuria award in 2020. In 2021, I led the editorial team for Rebirth, an anthology of short stories from Writers Space Africa (Nigeria), while in 2022, I received a UEFA accreditation for the Women’s Champions League Final, Torino, Italy, 2022. I recently served as the co-editor of Portraits of Patriots: 100 Nigeria’s Foremost Thought Leaders and Principal Editorial Assistant for Exemplars: 100 Most Outstanding Nigerians in the Diasporas. I am the author of The African New Yorker and some ebooks.
